Emi Burke

Founder & CEO

In 2011, Emi Burke established the Happy Hope Foundation with the mission of partnering with corporate and community organizations to create and deliver vibrant activity kits, known as Happy Hope Bags, to children facing health and safety crises nationwide and globally. Today, Emi and her dedicated team travel across all 50 states, bringing joy and hope to children through their impactful Happy Hope Factory pop-up events. Reaching an astounding average of 100,000 children annually, their mission continues to inspire, uplift, and make a meaningful difference nationwide and globally.

Wendy Webster

Executive Director

Wendy Webster brings over two decades of leadership and operational excellence to her role as Executive Director of the Happy Hope Foundation. Prior to joining the Foundation, Wendy spent 21 years with Wegmans Food Markets, where she rose through the ranks from deli manager trainee to store manager, opening and leading one of the company’s most successful locations.With a deep-rooted passion for service and community impact, Wendy now oversees national programs that deliver hope and joy to hospitalized and homeless children. Her commitment to operational efficiency, team engagement, and mission-driven results helps scale the Happy Hope Foundation’s reach to hundreds of thousands of children each year.
